Newly appointed Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman John Patrick "Pato" C. Gregorio took his oath of office before Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin at Malacañang Palace on Wednesday morning.
Present to witness the ceremony were (from left) Bases Conversion and Development Agency (BCDA) Chairman Hilario B. Paredes, Gregorio's family, son Martin, wife Marichelle, and daughters Patricia and Angela.
Malacañang released Gregorio’s appointment papers on Monday, June 30.
On Tuesday, he was welcomed at the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) by Commissioners Edward Hayco, Walter Torres, Fritz Gaston, and Executive Director Atty. Guillermo Iroy, Jr. He received the PSC flag from outgoing chief Richard Bachmann in the traditional turnover of the flag.
