PASIG CITY, Philippines — Innovation in Philippine racket sports takes another step forward as Spinora – The 30th Pickleball Academy introduces a unique concept: free table tennis play for pickleball players while waiting for their open play rotation.

Founded by Coach Danise Esposo, Spinora bridges its strong table tennis foundation with the country’s fast-growing pickleball movement — transforming downtime into active skill development.

Coach Thor, head coach of The 30th Pickleball Academy, said the integration is deliberate and performance-driven.

“Table tennis sharpens hand speed, reflexes and touch — all essential skills in pickleball. Instead of cooling down while waiting for your turn, you continue improving,” he said.

According to Thor, playing table tennis enhances pickleball performance through:  Faster volley exchanges, Quicker reactions at the kitchen line, Better control for dinks and resets, Improved footwork and balance, Stronger spin awareness and Enhanced focus under pressure

The initiative allows players to stay warm and mentally sharp without additional charges, effectively turning idle time into productive training.

“Continuous play. Continuous development. Continuous community,” Thor added.

Spinora – The 30th Pickleball Academy is located on the second floor of Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig City. Players may join via the Reclub app using club code BJ0G1 or visit https://reclub.co/clubs/@the-30th-pickleball-academy for more details.
