Wemade Max Co., Ltd. (CEO: Myeon-seok Son) announced on October 19 that the Grand Final of FWC (Flyff Universe World Championship) 2026, the biggest annual event for Flyff Universe, will take place on October 24. Flyff Universe is a global HTML5 MMORPG developed by Gala Lab Corp. (CEO: Hyunsu Kim) and serviced by Wemade Connect Co., Ltd. (CEO: Ho-dae Lee).
FWC is a Flyff Universe esports tournament in which players from around the world develop their characters under equal conditions before competing in PvP and PvE challenges after a set period. Now in its fourth year, FWC 2026 will hold its final stage in Manila, Philippines, with a record prize pool of US$110,000 (approximately KRW 150 million).
Eight teams that advanced through the global qualifiers, including last year’s champion, Astral, will compete in the Grand Final. Players from seven countries, including the Philippines, the United States, France and Chile, will vie for the championship in a double-elimination format. This year also marks the debut of “Opponent Selection,” allowing the top-ranked team from each time-zone qualifier to choose its opponent for the first match, adding strategic depth and mind games even before the competition begins.
The Grand Final will also serve as a global fan festival, combining matches, performances and a variety of interactive programs. Highlights will include a special performance by popular Filipino girl group KAIA, along with stage events featuring well-known cosplayers and international gaming creators.
The venue will offer a variety of interactive activities, including a player photo zone, four-frame photo booths, and fan signing sessions with well-known Filipino cosplayers and content creators. Attendees can also look forward to official FlyFF Universe merchandise and in-game rewards, while lucky draws will give away exciting prizes, including a scooter, a custom-built gaming PC, and a gaming laptop.
“FWC is more than an esports tournament; it is a festival that brings players from around the world together as one community,” said Ho-dae Lee, CEO of Wemade Connect. “We look forward to delivering a special experience that fans at the venue and online viewers can enjoy together.”
The official YouTube, Facebook, and Twitch channels will livestream the FWC 2026 Grand Final worldwide on October 24. Alongside the matches, broadcasters will also stream key programs such as the special performance and awards ceremony, enabling players who cannot attend in person to share in the festival's excitement.
