VERMOSA’S FIRST VELOCITY RACE CHAMPIONS TEAMWORK AND SPEED AT THE AYALA VERMOSA SPORTS HUB

IMUS, CAVITE  – The Vermosa Velocity Relay Race recently brought together runners, families, and sports enthusiasts for an action-packed celebration of speed, teamwork, and endurance at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub Athletic Center.

The event challenged participants across a series of relay and group running categories, creating an exciting race experience for both competitive runners and recreational athletes. The relay races featured 4xSwedish, 4x200m, 4x400m, and 4x800m events, putting each team’s speed, strategy, and seamless baton exchanges to the test.

Taking the top spot in the 4xSwedish Relay was team INDIE, while RWP CAVITE emerged victorious in the 4x200m Relay. TAKBO KABITENYO claimed the 4x400m Relay and 4x800m Relay. Beyond the relay events, TAKBO KABITENYO topped both the Miler Run (1.6 km) and 3KM Group Run.

In the overall team standings, Takbo Kabitenyo emerged as the Vermosa Velocity Relay Race Overall Champion with 66 points, followed by RWP Cavite in second place with 52 points and Southwoods Run Club in third with 42 points. Ayala Land Run Club was also recognized with the event’s prestigious Team Spirit Award, honoring the team that best embodied camaraderie, enthusiasm, sportsmanship, and the collective spirit of the running community.

More than just a race, the Vermosa Velocity Race celebrated the spirit of movement and community—bringing runners together to push their limits, support their teammates, and embrace an active lifestyle. The event also opened a new avenue for members of the running community to experience track and field competition in a dedicated athletic setting.
