Ford Philippines Welcomes the New Everest and Ranger with a Thrilling Trail Adventure

Ford Philippines recently introduced the new V6-powered Ford Everest and Ford Ranger lineup through a two-part launch and media drive experience that brought together members of the media, content creators, Ford Clubs, dealers, bank partners, and other key stakeholders to experience the latest evolution of two of the brand’s most prominent nameplates.

The launch began with an opening message from Pedro Simoes, managing director, Ford Philippines, who shared how the Everest and Ranger have made such a huge impact on Filipino customers over the years.

Beyond their roles as capable vehicles, the Ranger and Everest represent lifestyles that continue to resonate with Filipino owners—from off-roading and 4×4 driving to camping, glamping, overlanding, and community activities.

The event also featured the passionate owner communities and Ford Clubs that have grown in numbers over time, underscoring how Ford vehicles have become an integral part of their adventures with family and friends.

The lifestyle and versatility of the two nameplates were further explored through a fireside conversation featuring off-roading enthusiast and Overland Kings CEO Joel Pedro and journalist, host, and athlete Gretchen Ho.

Pedro shared his experiences with the Everest, particularly its capability for off-roading and overlanding, while Ho discussed how the Ranger enables her advocacy work, community development, and pursuing experiences beyond the usual boundaries of a pickup.

The conversation reinforced how Ford vehicles can play different roles depending on the lives, passions, and ambitions of their owners.

The adventure continued with an immersive media drive designed to get the vehicles into their element and out in the wild.

The two-day experiential drive took participants beyond the city and out on the trails, giving media and content creators the opportunity to experience firsthand the performance, capability, comfort, and technology that the Ranger Raptor, Ranger Wildtrak X, Ranger Wildtrak, Everest Platinum, and Everest Wildtrak have to offer.

The off-road drive provided an opportunity to experience the vehicles across varying terrain and conditions, while allowing participants to explore their respective capabilities beyond paved roads.

The new V6-powered Ranger lineup’s enhanced performance and off-road capability is equipped for demanding terrain and outdoor adventures, while its more elevated driving experience allows it to transition seamlessly from challenging trails to everyday drives.
