Ford Philippines reinforces small utility hybrid segment leadership with new Territory Hybrid Platinum

Ford Philippines has introduced the new Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum, a new range-topping variant for the Territory nameplate that elevates the country’s best-selling small utility hybrid vehicle with premium styling, refined craftsmanship, and Ford’s most advanced suite of driver-assist technology. 

The launch of the Territory Hybrid Platinum follows the Territory Hybrid’s first launch anniversary in the country. The first year saw sustained growth, with total sales reaching 4,405 units as of June 2026.

A cabin designed as personal sanctuary

Building on the spaciousness, practicality and comfort that the Territory is known for, the new Ford Territory Hybrid Platinum’s interiors is upholstered with Platinum design-quilted leather seats, ventilated front seats and illuminated PLATINUM scuff plates that add a refined touch to the cabin. 

What elevates the Territory Hybrid Platinum is the introduction of the Digital Scent feature, a first-in-class technology that allows drivers to create an ambient scentscape that delivers on a premium experience for the senses. The Digital Scent is a built-in, alcohol-free system integrated into the center console, releasing fragrance gradually in the cabin ensuring a smooth and consistent scent that can be adjusted for intensity via the 12-inch touchscreen. Drivers can choose from six (6) total scent profiles designed to enhance different moods. Each vehicle comes with three (3) pre-installed – Whispers of Dawn, Velvet Ember, and Verdant Rush, with three (3) additional premium scents – Amber Veil, Azure Oud, and Soul Velocity –available from a Ford dealership.

The audio experience has been enhanced for the Territory Hybrid Platinum with the Arkamys 10-speaker sound system, including a dedicated center speaker and a deep, powerful subwoofer, together with a 9-band equalizer and 320W amplifier. A sophisticated 3D audio algorithm recreates immersive 5.1 surround sound, making occupants feel as though they are seated in the heart of a concert hall. Users can customize the sound coverage area for the entire cabin, the driver’s seat or the rear seats, and fine-tune a nine-band equalizer with five professional presets. The system also features speed-compensated volume and directional audio safety alerts.

The Territory Hybrid Platinum is also equipped with two-panel panoramic sunroof that lets natural light flood the cabin whenever desired. Families can also take advantage of the spacious cargo area which expands from 448 liters to 1,442 liters with the second-row seats folded. The power tailgate offers hands-free operation for added convenience, while the door sill plates feature hidden LED lighting that illuminates automatically when the doors open, diffusing light evenly through an optical acrylic layer for an impressive welcome effect from the very first step. 

The smart air filtration system, integrating a PM2.5 filter and an ionizer, continuously purifies the cabin air, keeping the atmosphere fresh for the whole family on every journey.

A premium exterior design to stand out

The Territory Hybrid Platinum is designed to stand out on the road with a two-tone front bumper design and a blacked-out roof design. The PLATINUM hood lettering is prominent at the front, with gloss black side mirror complementing the overall design language.

The Territory Platinum features a distinctive exterior with a coast-to-coast LED daytime running light that creates a bold visual impression and accentuates the vehicle’s width. The lighting system is complemented by Automatic High Beam, helping enhance visibility and safety.

A dedicated PLATINUM badging on the tailgate and bonnet, gloss black roof rails with Sharkfin antenna, gloss black rear bumper finish, and new 19-inch alloy wheels give Territory Platinum a more premium and distinctive road presence.

Powerful, fuel efficient powertrain

Equipped with a 1.5L I-4 Dedicated Hybrid Engine paired with a 2-Speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission and 1.83kW Lithium-Ion NCM High Voltage Battery the Territory Hybrid Platinum delivers smooth, capable performance for everyday driving – no charging required.

The whole hybrid powertrain produces max engine power of 150PS, max engine torque of 230Nm, max electric power of 218PS, and max electric torque of 315Nm. This powertrain combination and EV, Series, Parallel or Energy Recovery mode allows for improved fuel economy and smoother torque delivery, especially in urban situations that feature stop-and-go traffic.

The Territory Hybrid Platinum’s hybrid system recovers battery power automatically throughout the trip via regenerative braking and energy capture from the internal combustion engine, delivering fuel efficiency of 19.6km/L or up to 1,000km of driving range in one full tank.

Equipped with smart and safety technology 

Dual 12-inch screens provide instrument and infotainment displays, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as Ford app connectivity, fitted as standard for the Territory Hybrid Platinum. The suite of advanced driver-assist technologies is further enhanced with Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Integrated Cruise Assist (ICA).

When Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is active and the vehicle slows below 60 km/h in congested traffic, TJA automatically engages. The system helps manage speed and keep the vehicle centered in its lane, reducing the need for continuous driver inputs and allowing the driver to focus on the surrounding traffic. When lane markings are clearly visible, TJA helps maintain the vehicle in the center of the lane. If a lane marking is detected on only one side, the system uses it to determine the vehicle’s intended path. If neither lane marking can be clearly identified, TJA switches to Follow Mode and adjusts the vehicle’s direction based on the path of the vehicle ahead.

As the vehicle leaves stop-and-go conditions behind and accelerates above 60 km/h, ACC seamlessly takes over from TJA. Working together with ACC, ICA helps manage acceleration and braking while making continuous small steering adjustments to keep the Territory centered in its lane, making longer journeys more comfortable. If lane markings become unclear or disappear, the system alerts the driver to resume control before disengaging, ensuring a seamless return to full driver control.

Introductory price for the Territory Hybrid Platinum is at P1,655,000 with 5-year warranty and free 2-year scheduled service plan (SSP).
