The much-awaited 101st season of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) officially tipped off on October 1, 2025, with a spectacular opening ceremony at the Araneta Coliseum. With a powerful theme, “Building Greatness,” spectators have all eyes on Mapúa University, which takes on a unique and proud dual role this year, serving as both the official host of the season and the reigning Seniors’ Basketball champion.

Representatives from the Palawan Group, together with Benjie Paras, honored youth basketball and supported the next generation of Filipino athletes.
